We reviewed several agents before deciding to work with Shana Rea. The main factor which drove our decision was the manner in which Shana approached the home search process. She was a thorough professional who showed us listings, provided valuable information and offered suggestions based on her vast experience in this field. Never was there any pressure from her in arriving at a decision. It was always a logical evaluation – pros vs. con, leading to a final decision on whether we wanted to move forward or not with the purchase process. This was a unique quality for a real estate professional; which we had not noticed in the agents that we tried to work prior to meeting Shana. It would not be fair if the following was not highlighted – She was extremely organized, disciplined, was honest in providing information and very punctual in meeting with us at the listings that we had scheduled to see. She not only provided information on open listings based on our criteria but also accommodated us to show houses that did not fall within our criteria. She responded very promptly by email or phone with answers on any questions that we had. Abundant guidance was provided regarding various things in the home buying process including service providers (inspection, loan processor etc.), mortgage process, closing process etc. Never was there any expectation from her that we follow her suggestions. Having that source of knowledge and freedom of choice is another quality that places her above the rest. Shana made herself available on weekends/weekdays to work with our schedules to view open houses and potential listings of our liking. Not only did she provide all the details about the house, neighborhood, schools etc. but also helped guide us through the various steps of mortgage process. More importantly it was her candid demeanor which contributed in making her very trustworthy; thereby improving our belief in her – both from a personal and professional stand point. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience working with Shana Rea. We would highly recommend her as a competent, trustworthy and personable professional to anyone looking for a real estate agent.
